Introduction:
AIMS Test for Management Admission (ATMA) is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) which was formed in 1988 as a network of management schools in the country. AIMS is a national network of over 350 schools. It represents Indian management schools in various national and international forums connected with management education. ATMA is an All-India test which help candidates gain an entry to numerous management institutes in the country depending on their performance. ATMA is held four to five times a year. This year ATMA exam has been conducted in internet-based test mode due to the covid-19 pandemic.
What is ATMA Exam?
AIMS Test for Management Admissions or ATMA is a national-level exam conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admission to MBA, PGDM, MCA and PGDBA courses. The exam is conducted four times a year. More than 500 management institutes across India accept ATMA scores for admission to their management programmes. The test aims to assess the aptitude of candidates which is necessary for higher management studies.It also helps to apply to top mba programs.
Important notice:
ATMA 2021 application window has opened for the June session exam on June 1, 2021. The candidates can apply till July 18, 2021. ATMA 2021 (July) will be conducted on July 24, 2021, in the internet-based test mode. The fee payment window will close on July 17, 2021. ATMA 2021 results for the May session were scheduled to be announced on June 5, 2021, but were postponed. The ATMA result for the May session exam has been announced on June 7, 2021. ATMA 2021 (May) was conducted on May 30 and the April exam was conducted on April 25, 2021, and the results for the same were preponed and announced on May 3, 2021. The February session exam was conducted on February 14, 2021, in the internet-based test mode and the ATMA results 2021 were released on February 19, 2021, at 7:00 PM. ATMA question paper will comprise six sections. Questions in the exam will be asked from Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal Skills.The test is also a gateway to top mba university and top mba colleges in India.

There are three major sections in ATMA Exam syllabus. Each of the three sections is further divided into two parts making ATMA exam syllabus defining key topics and questions for six sections.

Sectional Time Limit to Solve the Questions: 30 minutes.
Expected skills from ATMA Test Takers: Must possess the analytical skills to analyze the situation and arrive at write answers. Expected to answer questions on Critical Reasoning, Course of Action, Statement-Inference, Strong/Weak Arguments

Sectional Time Limit to Solve the Questions: 30 minutes
Expected skills from ATMA Test Takers: Must have clarity on English language usage, grammar, vocabulary. Topics covered are Grammar, Jumbled sentences, Vocabulary, RC Passages
Section: Quantitative Skills-1
Number of questions: 30
Expected skills from ATMA Test Takers: With clarity on solving Mathematics & numerical problems, you are expected to face questions on Arithmetic, Algebra, Modern Math
Section: Verbal Skills-2
Number of questions: 30
Time limit: 30 minutes
Expected skills from ATMA Test Takers: It is no different from part-1 of Verbal Skills. You may get more questions on RC passages, vocabulary and verbal reasoning also
Section: Reasoning Skills-2

Expected skills from ATMA Test Takers: addition to the topics in part-1, you may expect questions based on Coding-decoding, Strengthen/Weaken arguments Statement-Conclusion, Arrangements, Syllogisms, Data sufficiency

Expected skills from ATMA Test Takers: Questions on Data Interpretation are also placed in this section. Geometry, Modern Math are also major components in this section.

ATMA RESULTS:
ATMA Result contains both overall and sectional scores. The ATMA score card consists of sectional scores of all the six sections clubbed into 3 major sections and divided as I and II. The sections are: Verbal Skills; Quantitative Skills; and Analytical Reasoning. Apart from the sectional scores, the ATMA Result reports overall total Score.
ATMA Test takers should download their ATMA exam Result-cum Score Card from official ATMA exam website by using their PID and Password as provided at the time of ATMA exam Registration.
