What exactly is BUMAT?


Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU) administers the BUMAT (Bharati Vidyapeeth Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test) for admission to its BBA/BCA programme. It is a 2.5-hour test with 200 questions in the disciplines of English, Mathematics, and Reasoning. Previously, BUMAT 2021 was set to take place on June 20. Due to the current pandemic situation, the BUMAT 2021 exam will be conducted in an online proctored home-based style. Due to the pandemic situation produced by COVID-19 last year, the entire admission process was suspended.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus for BU-MAT 2021


The BU-MAT exam is divided into two parts:

  • a computer-based test and
  • a paper-based test (CBT)

BU-MAT 2021 Written Exam Marking Distribution


There will be 200 multiple choice questions with four options on the computer-based test. The examination will last 150 minutes. 

Scheme of Marking

Correct responses will receive one mark, and there will be no negative marking.



A merit list is created based on the results of the entrance exam. Candidates must attend the counselling process according to their merit level.

 BVP BMAT 2021 Application Fee

  • The filled form must be submitted or sent through mail along with a demand draft of Rs 1500 drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, payable at Pune-411030.”
  •  The applicant must attach a Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- and send to the address.



To use the updated Application Form, applicants must first register on the official website.


After successful registration, each candidate will receive login credentials through email. The applicant can then use the credentials to access the Application Form on the website.


Because there will be verification at the time of admission, the applicant must not input any incorrect information.
